He is a doting hubby to his wife Priyamvada (Neena Gupta) and also a pacifier when his mother (Surekha Sikri) spews acidic words at her. The patriarch Jeetender (played by Gajraj Rao) is a ticket checker with the railways who doesn't believe in being a spend-thrift. The movie takes you straight into the middle-class Kaushik household which is set in a modest neighbourhood in Delhi.
The movie depicts the story of a young man named Nakul Kaushik, who manages to accept the fact of having a new sibling in his life at the age of late 20s. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in lead roles.
