Next, scroll over to Roster, and click on the file you just downloaded. After the download completes, leave the Download Community Files menu, and then go over to Load and Delete Files. Upon finding the right file, click on it, and then select Download File. Once done, make sure to only take a look at Roster updates that include Transactions and Retirement, among other important things. Press Square or X on PlayStation & Xbox respectively to refresh this list to the latest dates. When doing so, make sure the type selected is Roster and not Draft Class. After doing so, you need to scroll over to the Roster section. 
Next, click on Download Community Files. After that, scroll down on the list and click on Share and Manage Files. Once you log in, you need to click on the same NFL button. You can do so by pressing the Right Trigger button and clicking on the NFL logo button. To get updated rosters in Madden 22, you first need to make sure you are logged in with the EA Servers. 
If you’re not familiar with NFL futures contracts, BTSC can get you up to speed. The XFL put together a list of their players who signed futures contracts as well. I’m not entirely sure how accurate they are, but I used it as a guide. I’ve poked around the updated roster and see quite a few of the futures signings on their respective team, just going off of the list at NFLTR.
Also of note, all of the players that opted out for the NFL season, due to COVID concerns, will still have their injury designation. We included future's signings for each roster as well 🙂įor those of you looking for Matthew Stafford on the Rams and Jared Goff on the Lions, you need to wait until Madden NFL 22, since the trade won’t be official until March 17.
